4WD ASX models feature 4 Wheel Drive (4WD), a button that lets you select ‘2WD’ for greater efficiency and ‘4WD’ for increased traction on slippery or loose roads. There’s also a ‘Lock’ mode that provides positive drive to both front and rear wheels in unpredictable road conditions.
The ASX is available in both petrol and diesel in selected models. The AWD is available only in diesel. The 2WD takes 91 unleaded petrol.
Yes, all ASX models are able to tow a braked trailer, up to 1,300kg on petrol and 1,400kg on diesel.
